Responsibilities:
1. Execute the apartment make-ready process for vacant units, ensuring they are ready for new residents.
2. Complete assigned work orders for repairs and improvements in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Perform a range of maintenance duties, including appliance repairs, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC tasks, carpentry, lock maintenance, and sheet rock repairs.
4. Conduct property and vacant unit inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
5. Utilize basic hand tools and power tools to carry out maintenance tasks effectively.
6. Assist in organizing and securing parts and storage areas for efficient operations.
7. Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required to ensure the longevity of equipment and systems.
8. Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in apartment/multi-family maintenance.
2. At least 2 years of specific maintenance experience, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of various repair and maintenance tasks.
3. Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to address residents' needs promptly and courteously.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and residents.
